Situated on Edinburgh 's historic Royal Mile just below the Castle, the Assembly Hall is a spectacular and large oval shaped hall with all-round galleries, can seat up to 1,250 people and provides both an historic and memorable backdrop for a large range of events.
Designed in the mid 19 th century by William Playfair, the Assembly Hall was more recently used as the temporary home of the Scottish Parliament between 1999 and 2004.
The Hall, now fully refurbished, can be used for a variety of meetings, product launches and theatrical performances. A number of breakout rooms are available outside of the main hall and are ideal for a variety of uses including VIP rooms, dressing rooms and event organiser's offices.
Full technical provision and support is available including voting systems and broadcast facilities. And a wide variety of catering and refreshment options, all provided by Edinburgh First's own team of specialists, will complete the flexible and great value packages provided at the Assembly Hall.
Access to the Hall is through the main archway to New College on the Mound.
