The main concourse provides up to 560sqm double height space with natural light from a glazed roof; ideal for exhibitions, registration, drinks receptions and networking events.
Within the concourse is also the University's own branded café – ‘Absorb’ which can be made available for delegates use.
The complex as a whole, or any one or more lecture theatres, is available for weekend use throughout the year. During the spring break and through the summer from May to September they are also available for weekday use.
The University has 76 year round hotel bedrooms of its own to support activities at Appleton Tower and other George Square venues. This increases during our spring and summer vacation periods, with 2000 bedrooms available to support conferences and events.
Is Appleton Tower not large enough? Then adjacent to Appleton, within George Square, there are another 5 lecture theatres accommodating from 250 to 500 delegates and numerous seminar rooms for between 10 and 100 delegates.
